Step Inside Kim Kardashian West and Kanye Wests Boundary-Defying Home

kim kardashians house

A dream come true for many, Kardashian West's spacious closet has been divided in two parts. The first section, seen above, is a dedicated space for her handbags and shoes. From classic pieces to OTT party-ready clutches and boots, you'll find them all in here. The same year Kardashian and Ye welcomed their fourth child together, they also trained their eye on expanding their Hidden Hills empire. In March they purchased a $2.7-million property adjacent to their primary residence. Then in the fall, they dropped $2.98 million for a third Hidden Hills property nearby, a ranch with equestrian facilities unconventionally split across either side of a main road.

In Kim Kardashian West's case, this is especially evident when one takes a peek inside the living room. Kardashian West's all-white space is sparsely furnished, creating a blank canvas-like setting that's as soothing as it is statement-making. One can spot a Jean Royère chair and table in the living room, both of which were handpicked by Kanye West, a matching white piano, and a fibre glass sculpture by artist Anish Kapoor that completes the space. The Wests chose sheer ivory cotton curtains for this space, which allow a degree of colour and sunshine from their lawns to light up their living room.

Kardashian listed that home for $5.3 million three years later, and it still appears to be on the market. Both the makeup and the messaging were consistent for Kardashian, who has used her platform and influence to push for criminal justice reform since 2018. The property is located in Carpinteria, a Santa Barbara city known for its scenic backdrop, beautiful beaches, and peaceful ambiance. This home was originally owned by Conan O'Brien, and the talk show host completely gutted the interior and revamped the space. Although it's smaller than some of their other properties, it's an excellent getaway for the couple to escape their public lifestyles.

This includes oddities like a bag of her own hair that her father cut off in 1988, along with more predictable objects, like baby books and the paintings her daughter North made for her. “Each kid can have their full style and taste in their bedroom and have so much fun, but in the main house, I really like the calmness,” she declared. She continued, "Each kid can have their full style and taste in their bedroom and have so much fun, but in the main house, I really like the calmness."

The move was a major story plot on her hit reality show, "Khloe & Lamar," and viewers watched as she quickly started making plans to join "Lam-Lam" in North Texas (via The Hollywood Reporter). “When I saw the kind of work he was doing, I thought, This man could design Batman’s house,” Ye told AD. “I had to work with him.” In a 2018 tweet, Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner claimed that the home was valued around $60 million given all of the couple’s renovations and investments. Following the pair’s headline-making split several years later, Kardashian bought out Ye’s share of the estate for $23 million.

The second section of Kim Kardashian West's closet also follows a minimalistic aesthetic. Instead of stuffy cupboards or shelves, this space features dress racks with all her clothing neatly lined up according to colour. This corner of the closet comes with a mirrored wall, a large ivory velvet couch, and distressed hardwood floors. As for her mystifying sink with no basin, designer Vervoordt and architect Claudio Silvestrin created the distinctive station after eight different prototypes for people to wash their hands. Her square-shaped tub — which “fits all of [her] kids“ — is concrete-colored with angular corners and sleek lines. The holidays are one of Kardashian’s favorite times of the year, so it’s no surprise she goes all out on decorations.

In July of 2023, Kim boasted of her home's gorgeous view of Lake Coeur d'Alene and the surrounding forests on her Instagram, calling it, "My happy place". Since purchasing the property, the A-list celebrity has made several renovations. A new layer of dark brown paint gives the house a more rustic appearance, and more landscaping has been added to provide privacy from neighbors. Their real estate agent, Josh Altman, who stars in the Bravo real estate series "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles," stated that the sale was "such a big deal for many reasons across the board."

The primary suite boasts a fireplace, a sitting area, dual spa-like bathrooms and a walk-in closet. There are two additional en suite bedrooms, a media room, a light and bright gym with vaulted ceilings — and a fourth bedroom with a private entrance, a kitchen and a bathroom, the previous listing describes. As for Kardashian, she has been trying to sell two other California properties. This month, the reality star re-listed her brutalist three-bedroom, four-bathroom condominium in Calabasas that she once used as an office for SKIMS for $3.5 million. Almost seven years—and three more children—later, the Wests have transformed that real estate into one of the most fascinating, otherworldly, and, yes, strange pieces of domestic architecture on the planet. Last year, Donald called Kim an “overrated celebrity” in a social media post despite how the two seemingly developed a solid working relationship in the past.

Those who keep up with the Kardashians know that Kim Kardashian has amassed quite an impressive real estate portfolio in recent years. With her latest purchases, the mogul seems to be focused on creating spaces she can escape to. She’s building a Palm Springs vacation home with Tadao Ando, another home in an undisclosed location with Kengo Kuma, and most recently, she purchased a beachfront Malibu mansion for $70.4 million.

Kardashian still resides there with their children North, 9, Saint, 6½, Chicago, 4½, and Psalm, 3. “This house just really represents to me a lot of the hard work that I’ve put in, and it’s like enjoying the fruits of my labor,” says Kim in a confessional interview. Looking out over the ocean from the property, which sits high on a bluff above the beach, she discusses her future plans for the house. In an exclusive clip from season three, episode seven of her Hulu reality show The Kardashians (which hits the streaming service July 6), Kim takes her younger sister Khloé Kardashian to visit the new house for the first time. "The kids ride their scooters down the hallways and jump around on top of the low Axel [Vervoordt] tables, which they use as a kind of stage," West said.

While Kanye also has a Malibu home, it's 15 miles from Kim's, giving her a bit more space than their proximity in Hidden Hills. In the fifth season of the reality franchise, viewers got a glimpse into Kim's very first villa. The five-bedroom, five-bathroom Beverly Hills home boasted a European aesthetic complete with a swimming pool grotto in the back, as per Zillow. According to Daily News, Kim purchased the impressive house around the time she split from Reggie Bush, which allowed her to pour all of her energy into her new home.

It is now worth over $5 million, and she's also purchased two nearby properties valued at around $250 thousand and $700 thousand. When it comes to his real estate choices, Robert Kardashian Jr. has always been a fan of family living. For a few years, Robert lived with his sister Khloe in her Tarzana mansion while she was married to Lamar. After Robert moved out of Khloe's home, he lived in a cozy four-bedroom, five-bathroom Calabasas bachelor pad, which, according to Entertainment Tonight, was actually purchased by his mother at $2.3 million in February of 2016. "Rob has been looking at homes on and off for a while," a source told the publication.

Where Does Kim Kardashian Live? Her Hidden Hills Palace is Insane

The pair were recently reported to have expanded their Hidden Hills compound to include, among other things, a working farm. But even though their goal is apparently to make their home in California a basically self-sustaining compound, it's naturally not the only house Kim Kardashian has. Inside, her grand master suite includes a fireplace and sitting area, as well as dual spa-like bathrooms and a walk-in closet. Kim's Malibu villa also includes a gym with vaulted ceilings and a media room. Although Kanye describes the house as “90 percent Axel,” several other prominent designers lent their talents to the proceedings.

They became viral for holding back on absolutely nothing while taking us on a journey of smiles, frowns, luxury lifestyle, high-profile relationships, and many family matters. As their fame grew, their empire increased immensely, which allowed them to acquire a more A-list lifestyle. This included constantly trading in their houses for bigger, more luxurious real estate. In February 2020, the former couple showed off the California mansion that they shared at the time in a cover story for Architectural Digest. During the interview, West revealed that despite their home having a pristine, stark appearance, it was actually designed with their kids in mind.

There is also said to be a gym, a hair salon, a massage room, a basketball court, and a full-size movie theater for not just the family but any size gathering. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries's 2011 marriage may have only lasted for 72 days, but one of their relationship's biggest artifacts has just resurfaced. As reported by TMZ, the Beverly Hills house where Humphries proposed to Kardashian is now on the market, with an asking price of $5.5 million. Stairs also lead to a hidden beach, the highlight of a weekend getaway, and the best way to unwind with a bunch of kids. Of course, Kardashian appears to be nothing if not a fitness freak, and maintaining her hot bod requires a well-equipped gym, which the estate offers, too. The Kardashian siblings are often spotted working out together, and this home probably helps them keep their routines intact even on holidays.

The holidays are one of Kardashian’s favorite times of the year, so it’s no surprise she goes all out on decorations. “I find that there’s so much chaos out in the world that once I come home, I want it to be really quiet and I want everything to feel calming,” she told Vogue during a February 2022 house tour. The “Kardashians” star noted that “everything in [her] house is really minimal” — and there’s a reason for it. Their four young kids — North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm — have all grown up on the property, though their eldest daughter isn’t the biggest fan of the home. In 2017, Kim Kardashian faced a new controversy when paparazzi snaps revealed her on the beach wearing a bikini and showcasing her natural cellulite and stretch marks—a contrast from her typically airbrushed modeling shots.

Kardashian also made sure to plug her skincare line, SKKN BY KIM, with "greige" packaging that matches her home's color palette perfectly. Outside the primary bathroom is a privacy wall covered in pampas grass, clearly snapped before her Christmas tree installation was put in place. She covers all things travel and home, from celebrities' luxury mansions to breaking travel news. "The interior design was all about neutral tones and minimal furniture," Kardashian explained. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians also noted, "Kanye and I were the designers of the house and we were so involved in every single detail." Well, none other than her own mom, Kris Jenner, who used to do the same thing for her and her sisters when they were growing up.

According to her now-defunct subscription app and website, Khloe "never stayed in one place too long" and would move to a new place yearly. However, all this came to a screeching halt at age 25 when she married the love of her life, Lamar Odom, in 2009. Shortly after tying the knot, they moved into a lush mansion in the suburbs of Tarzana, California, which cost $3,950,000 and was 8,400 square feet (via The Real Estalker).

Take a Look Inside Kim Kardashian's New $70 Million Malibu Mansion

Spanning more than 7,450 square feet on 3 acres of land, the Malibu villa has a private path to a private beach. The contemporary-style abode can be entered following a long driveway past the tennis courts, the previous listing notes. With 184 million followers on Instagram, Kim Kardashian West is a social media star and has mastered the art of keeping her fans entertained. The mom-of-four likes to give her Insta fam regular peeks into her private life when she isn't busy shooting for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and doesn't hesitate from taking the world into her closet. A dream come true for many, Kardashian West's spacious closet has been divided in two parts.

The sale was closed on the six-bedroom, eight-bathroom new construction in late May, giving Kourtney, Travis, and Kourtney's three children over 9,000 square feet of living space. The contemporary-style home is designed around a central courtyard, creating an architectural masterpiece evocative of a desert oasis. Unfortunately, Khloe and her husband Lamar's union ended in 2013 when they filed for divorce after four years of marriage, as per TMZ.

We changed the house by purifying it, and we kept pushing to make it purer and purer,” the designer explains. The mother-of-four is selling a ranch in Hidden Hills that she has never lived in for $5.3million, along with her Calabasas condo that has previously served as an office for her KKW Beauty and Skims businesses, for $3.5million. The Kardashians star has splashed out $70.4million on a dreamy beachfront home in Malibu that once belonged to Cindy Crawford, and it's easy to see why Kim couldn't resist snapping it up.

"When the new buyer came to see our home, I wanted to be the one to give her a personal tour," she wrote in a post on her app. Acton told TMZ she's selling just seven months after buying the place because she's expecting a baby and plans to buy an even larger house near Miami, where she'll have a guest house for her parents to stay. Kardashian recently revealed the extremes she goes to in order to keep the pale furniture that populated this house and their new place clean with three kids - North, 5, Saint, 2, and Chicago, 5 months - running around. The kitchen features all stainless-steel appliances including two diswashers, a professional-grade range, and open shelving reminiscent of a restaurant kitchen.

With its captivating story, powerful performances, and profound exploration of human nature, House of Sand and Fog has rightly earned its place among the most memorable films of its genre. So, sit back, relax, and immerse yourself in the compelling world of House of Sand and Fog. Massoud Amir Behrani is living a lie to fulfill a dream. Once a member of the Shah of Iran's elite inner circle, he has brought his family to America to build a new life.

There is a moment when they start sharing an empty cottage in the woods, and as he leaves, she asks if he'll come back, and then quickly adds, "I'll understand if you don't." Both of these people desperately need this house. Yes, Kathy should have opened her mail and paid her taxes. Yes, perhaps, Massoud should agree with Kathy's public defender (Frances Fisher) and sell the house back for what he paid. But we know, from looking into his books (where every Snickers bar is accounted for) that he is almost broke. This is his last chance to keep up appearances for his wife and son, and to look substantial in the eyes of his daughter's new Iranian husband and in-laws.

Despite a pretense of continued affluence, he is barely making ends meet until he sees his opportunity in the auction of a house being sold for back taxes. Through a bureaucratic snafu, the house had been improperly seized from its rightful owner, Kathy Nicolo, a self-destructive alcoholic. The loss of her home tears away Kathy's last hope of a stable life--a life that had been nearly destroyed by addiction--and Kathy decides to fight to recover her home at any cost. Her struggle is joined by deputy sheriff Lester Burdon, who tries to take the law into his own hands to help Kathy.

A former Colonel in the Iranian Air Force, Behrani has been reduced to working menial jobs to maintain a pretense of affluence. Now he pours the last of his life savings into the purchase of the house that will, at last, bring back the prosperity his family once knew. Massoud begs God to save his son but Esmail does not survive. Believing they have nothing left to live for, Massoud kills Nadereh by lacing her tea with pills. He then dons his old military uniform, tapes a plastic dust cover over his head, and asphyxiates himself while clutching his wife's hand. Kathy discovers the couple and frantically attempts to resuscitate Massoud but she is too late.

House of Sand and Fog marks the feature film directorial debut of Vadim Perelman. Screenwriters Perelman and Shawn Lawrence Otto adapted the best-selling novel by Andre Dubus III, which was an Oprah Book Club selection. Michael London and Perelman produced the film, which is presented by DreamWorks Pictures, in association with Cobalt Media Group. The new owner, Massoud Amir Behrani (Kingsley) sees the house as the fulfillment of the American Dream he has been pursuing since he fled Iran with his family years earlier.

I have not read the novel by Dubus, and no doubt changes have been made in the adaptation -- they always are. But I sense that the essential integrity has been defended. "House of Sand and Fog" relates not a plot with its contrived ups and downs but a story. The director and co-writer, Vadim Perelman, doesn't lay out the plot like bricks on a wall, but allows it to reveal itself. When the wealthy have a fall, the luxury car is often the last treasure to go; better an expensive old car than a cheap new one.

Once you work up the courage to approach the two-bedroom, one-bathroom log cabin in the middle of nowhere, you’ll be reassured by its quaint, homespun charm — for a while, at least. Modeled after a Richardsonian Romanesque Scottish castle, this dramatic stone edifice could inspire a Gothic horror story. Parts of the home are even older than the 1888 construction date, such as the 250-year-old staircase that was imported from London, or the incredible 650-year-old Grecian fireplace. Some features have a very eyebrow-raising back story, such as the intricate fretwork in the entry that was carved by an inmate of an Irish debtors’ prison. So if you see any specters looming in the 14 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, library, dining hall, or even the Jacuzzi, here’s hoping they’re friendly. The historic, haunted Phillips Mansion (one of the year-round haunted houses in Los Angeles) is the perfect place to horrify thrill seekers.

The Ann Starrett Mansion in Port Townsend, Washington

One of LA’s leaders in interactive horror theater, Delusion is noted as the most intense haunted house in LA, and not without reason. There are several condos in the building currently for sale, including this four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom unit listed for $14.5 million. Few listings proudly proclaim that several people have died on the premises — but this is no ordinary home. Nowadays, The Pillars is a bed-and-breakfast, and its hosts ask guests to sign a waiver promising not to ghost-hunt or disturb the spirits within. (But the 13,286-square-foot home has plenty of space to host visitors and specters.) Oh, and all that Victorian furniture is included with the sale. The home at 2538 Sundown Drive is for sale at $2.3 million, listed by Compass agents Carl Gambino and Ariel Putman, and was recently shared on real estate fan account Zillow Gone Wild.

The Los Feliz Murder House, listed at $5.5 million, was the location of a murder-suicide.

The home is for sale for $699,000 and has music room, study, butler's pantry, screened-in porch, swimming pool, hardwood floors and several fireplaces. Click ahead to see eight homes for sale that might come with ghostly roommates. The ghosts range from well-known figures like John Lennon and Elizabeth Short (also known as "The Black Dahlia") to ghosts with only a first name or no name at all. Some are reported to simply wander their one-time homes, while others interact with their living residents and visitors.

NEW LISTING! 3,600SF Mixed Theme Haunt

The Priestly House at 138 E Fulton St. in Canton, Mississippi is valued at $938,000, according to Realtor.com. Knott’s Spooky Farm

The house is said to be haunted by the apparition of a 7-year-old girl named Sally, according to a website run by a former owner of the home. However, others who have owned or visited the home claim there's a demonic presence as well, in addition to a long list of other ghostly residents. Zombie Joe’s in North Hollywood is among those Los Angeles haunted houses for adults that don’t hold back on the immersive horror front. Dark Harvest is an interactive and fully immersive haunted house and haunted maze designed to terrify you out of your skin with a new theme each year. This pricey property is located off a nondescript, gated private drive through a forest landscape that comes off as either majestic or sinister, depending on the time of day.

Priestley and his wife Susan died in the home and, in 2002, the owner claimed something in the home was haunting his family. Reported paranormal activities include the appearance of a ghostly woman, a piano playing on its own, candles falling out of their holders and "hot spots" in the room where Mrs. Priestley died, according to Realtor.com. Each year, they take on a new, multisensory theme– all equally terrifying. Since it’s rare to find a haunted house in Los Angeles where they can touch you, this is a unique experience where you’ll be fully and physically immersed.

The house was the home of the town's first postmaster and doctor, Dr. James Priestly. While the church has been converted from a place of worship to a four-bed, two-bath private residence, you’ll still find vestiges of the original structure. Such as a Friday-night-dance-ready basement, stained-glass windows, and, um, an intact church sanctuary, complete with pews and an organ.

Channel the spirit(s) and style of 1887 in this historic home, which carries a very down-to-earth price tag. Decorated in a period-appropriate “séance-chic” theme, the Victorian home features a dizzying array of wallpaper patterns, dark wood accents, and claustrophobic hallways. The castle was custom-built by the great-grandson of a 19th-century steel baron. With spires, turrets, and towers dotting the roofline of the stone-and-concrete chateau, Count Dracula would probably feel right at home within these walls.

That is, until the scenery starts reminding you of The Blair Witch Project. If the rumors are true, this circa-1800s estate comes with plenty of spiritual inhabitants. This is the family-friendly, “spooky” version of the annual Halloween festivities at Knott’s Berry Farm. Spirits of the undead leftover from a gruesome past populate the century-and-a-half-old mansion turned haunted museum. Visitors say they have seen phantom figures in some of the home's bedrooms and heard heavy footsteps in the stairwell, according to Love Property. Although he’d probably prefer a coffin in the basement to any of the home’s eight bedrooms. Budding ghost hunters would find plenty to get excited about, from the ridiculously on-the-nose name (“The Haunted Castle House”) to the location (adjacent to two cemeteries) to the vertigo-inducing 40-foot-high turret. For those who prefer to connect with generations past through historical artifacts, the circa-1850 home comes complete with antique furniture. It was the house you avoided any time of year, especially after dark — and always on Halloween, when you were 110% sure the home’s supernatural residents were doing the Monster Mash.

Styles with large amounts of fabric (for example, a tulle ball gown skirt) may not be as easy to maneuver in tight spaces. If you'll be getting ready alone, you may want to skip styles with intricate corsets or button-up backs that you can't easily do yourself. When you’re on a budget, a courthouse wedding can definitely save you money.

The entire wedding planning process–from applying for a marriage license to the ceremony–can take a few weeks to a few months, depending on your location and any waiting periods for the license. To be legally married at a Los Angeles City Hall location, it is crucial to have a marriage license issued by Los Angeles County. This means that licenses from other states, counties, or countries will not be accepted.

That means you need to schedule your ceremony so it takes place before the marriage license expires. Having a singer or band play is a sure-fire way to make things go off with a bang. On the other hand, if you’re hiring a venue, you may want to think about a wedding DJ instead. While these after-parties are usually smaller than full wedding receptions, you can hand-pick the elements you want to include in your event. While you can’t decorate the courthouse, you can choose your wedding flowers.

And because the guest list is usually smaller than average, courthouse weddings are a popular option for couples on a budget. To get married at the courthouse, you will need to research the specific requirements for obtaining a marriage license and schedule an appointment for your ceremony. On the day of your courthouse wedding, a wedding officiant will guide you through exchanging vows, officially pronouncing you as a married couple. It's an opportunity for newlyweds to celebrate their union and share their joy with loved ones. Couples can personalize the celebration by incorporating elements that are important to them, such as speeches, dancing, or cutting a cake. You can also incorporate sentimental items, such as a family heirloom or a special piece of jewelry. Additionally, think about choosing music that holds significance to you and your partner.

You may carry a bouquet down the aisle, have your witnesses do the same, or even decorate your transport with flowers. Since you do not have to decorate an entire venue with flowers, you may want to splurge on the arrangements. Think about your wedding theme, what you both like as a couple and which style flowers suits your wedding attire, too. For example, you could choose a location in a town that’s meaningful to you and your relationship.

You may want to choose some quirky wedding transportation, give a quick thank you speech to the attendees, or even do something as a group to mark the occasion. This is your special day, and there are a million ways to make it creative. Personalizing your courthouse wedding is a simple way to make it extra memorable. However, there are other ways to customize this event and make it unique to your love story. Be sure to keep your witnesses and any guests you invite in the loop. The last thing you want is for some people to adopt a casual look while others are wearing fancy formal wear.
